On January 11, the founding ceremony was held for Changzhou Craftsman Institute. Fang Guoqiang, chairman of the municipal Labor Union unveiled the plate for the institute at the ceremony.

Based in the Changzhou Technician College, the Changzhou Craftsman Institute is founded by two parties: the municipal Labor Union and the municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The institute will focus on three areas: industrial development, talent training and resource accumulation.

In the future, the Changzhou Craftsman Institute will establish a complete course system, inviting experts, scholars, and technicians to give lectures and guide trainees. A multi-modal talent cultivation method will be adopted, such as promoting apprenticeship and carrying out university-enterprise cooperation. In this way, more companies will be interested in taking part, with high-skilled talents trained for them.
