Following the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism’s approval of the 2025 New-Type Public Cultural Spaces initiative, a total of 15 public cultural spaces have been designated across Changzhou. These sites, which include libraries, exhibition halls, and creative hubs, aim to enhance residents’ access to diverse cultural resources.
The 15 spaces selected in Changzhou are:

Tianning district: Qiubai Reading Yards at Cuizhu Park and Luohan Road

Zhonglou district: Xingliang Comb Exhibition & Experience Hall, RU DE, and Jingchuanli Community Cultural Service Center

Xinbei district: Qiubai Reading Yard in Luoxi, Daiying Reading Yard, and Hongfan Cultural Plaza

Wujin district: Nanxiang Reading Yard

Jintan district: Jintan Paper-Cutting Art Center

Liyang city: Tingzhuxiang Cultural Space, Yilifang Cultural Hub at the Olympic Sports Center, and Shitang Village – A Creative & Cultural Co-Sharing Hub

Changzhou Economic Development Zone: Tianhong Daming 1921 Creative Park and Lucheng Reading Yard
This initiative aligns with Jiangsu’s 14th Five-Year Plan, which sets a goal of establishing 1,000 new-type public cultural spaces province-wide by 2025. The program underscores a commitment to accessible, community-driven cultural development, meeting the growing intellectual and lifestyle needs of citizens.
