1. Nanta

Nanta (also known as Cookin' or Cookin' Nanta) is a South Korean non-verbal comedy show that incooperate traditional samul nori rhythm. It premiered in October 1997 in Hoam Art Hall in Seoul.

The musical has a simple back story of three cooks attempting to finish preparing a wedding banquet within a strict time limit while the manager installs his incompetent nephew among the kitchen staff. The show involves acrobatics, magic tricks, comedy,pantomime and audience participation. The unifying element throughout the musical is the use of traditional Korean samul nori music, which in this case is performed with improvised instruments, such as cutting boards, water canisters and kitchen knives. The performance is almost completely non-verbal. The very few words which are spoken are mostly in English.

Nanta is the longest-running show in Korean history. In Korea it is performed in three theatres in Seoul as well as in one theatre on the island of Jeju. The musical made its international debut at the 1999 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it received an award for best performance. Since then it has been staged in 18 countries around the world. Nanta opened off Broadway in New York Cityin 2004 and ended its run in August 2005.

2. Castle in the Sky: Musical Works of Joe Hisaishi/Hayao Miyazaki’s Animation Symphony Concert

In the Symphony Concert, classic musical works of Joe Hisaishi/Hayao Miyazaki’s animation will be performed, including Castle in the Sky, Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, The Rain, Summer, Madness, and Departures. 

Joe Hisaishi is a famous composer and musical director known for over 100 film scores and solo albums, especially for composing music to the many works of Hayao Miyazaki. His musical creation is full of childishness, philosophy, and spirituality, which is therefore praised as the musical bible that touches the soul. 

Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese film director, animator, manga artist, illustrator, producer, and screenwriter. Through a career that has spanned six decades, Miyazaki has attained international acclaim as a masterful storyteller and as a maker of anime feature films.

3. Hamilton: I nationens intresse (2012)

Plot Summary 

Special agent Hamilton goes undercover and joins a Russian mafia organization that smuggles swedish weapons to terrorists. Suddenly they are attacked by unknown group of heavily armed men who kill everybody except Hamilton and take the weapons. But who are they? And who are they working for? Hamilton starts chasing them across the world...

4. The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016)

Plot Summary 

Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White’s blade, she watched silently as her sister, Freya (Blunt), suffered a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom.  With Freya’s ability to freeze any enemy, the young ice queen has spent decades in a remote wintry palace raising a legion of deadly huntsmen—including Eric (Hemsworth) and warrior Sara (Chastain)—only to find that her prized two defied her one demand: Forever harden your hearts to love.

When Freya learns of her sister’s demise, she summons her remaining soldiers to bring the Magic Mirror home to the only sorceress left who can harness its power.  But once she discovers Ravenna can be resurrected from its golden depths, the wicked sisters threaten this enchanted land with twice the darkest force it’s ever seen.  Now, their amassing army shall prove undefeatable…unless the banished huntsmen who broke their queen’s cardinal rule can fight their way back to one another.
