The proceedings featured insights from two leading Changzhou entrepreneurs who shared their corporate development experiences, stressing the importance of adhering to core industries, maintaining long-term development confidence, embracing innovation, and sustaining industrial commitment. Professor Jin Yaohui of Shanghai Jiao Tong University delivered a keynote lecture titled Breaking Boundaries with DeepSeek: AI Breakthroughs Fueling Changzhou’s Industrial Leap, analyzing how cutting-edge artificial intelligence could catalyze the city’s industrial transformation.
The meeting emphasized that Changzhou’s private enterprises must uphold unwavering confidence and focus, aligning closely with municipal authorities to jointly advance high-quality development. Entrepreneurs were urged to concentrate on core business operations, strengthen manufacturing foundations, and accelerate the development of new productive forces—critical to upgrading traditional industries, expanding strategic emerging sectors, and cultivating future-oriented industries.
A focal point of discussions was the city’s "1028" industrial development strategy, particularly its emphasis on fields such as new energy and new materials. Participants agreed on the necessity for enterprises to enhance innovation capabilities and core competitiveness to more effectively support Changzhou’s socioeconomic progress.
The Federation of Industry and Commerce was tasked with proactively ensuring efficient policy implementation, deepening internal reforms, and improving operational capacities to strengthen its organizational cohesion, execution efficacy, and influence within the private sector.
