To further enhance epidemic-related management, residents are required to scan Venue Code when visiting public sector premises such as hospitals, pharmacies, and supermarkets. 

The purposes are to enhance the efficiency of epidemiological investigation, accelerate the work to identify people at risk of infection, and contain the spread of the disease in the community at the soonest possible time and lowest social cost. 

The visit record function is available in the My Changzhou (Chinese: 我的常州) mobile application. Epidemic-related measures will be implemented if any code scan result shows a visitor is supposed to be under quarantine or medical observation at home.
