Font:〖L M S

China is expanding its visa-free policy to facilitate easier cross-border travel. Starting from November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2025, citizens holding ordinary passports from nine countries—Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, and Japan—will be eligible for visa-free entry into China on a trial basis. This policy allows visits for business, tourism, family visits, exchanges, and transit, with a maximum stay of 30 days, extended from the previous 15-day limit.

This extension complements existing visa-free arrangements and further emphasizes China’s commitment to fostering international connectivity and exchanges. Currently, 38 countries are part of China’s visa-free agreement, with new enhancements to simplify travel procedures.
