As Changzhou pursues to build an innovation area between Gehu Lake and Changdang Lake, the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) embraces new development opportunities. On the afternoon of May 11, a group signing and establishment ceremony for programs took place here, marking the first of its kind in 2022. A total of 18 key projects signed agreements to establish in the CICP, covering the fields of the CIP Initiative, China-Israel collaboration platforms and programs, talent attraction and digital economy. Mayor Sheng Lei attended the event, and awarded the Blue Keys of Innovation to companies settling in the Park.

Before the ceremony, the mayor and other leaders visited the Moshe Incubator, Changzhou Waston-Israel Venture Capital Center, CZ XU Technology, the CICP Administration Office, and the newly-established talent service port for Israelis in China.

Edward Shapira, consul general of the Israeli Consulate in Shanghai,  extended his congratulations to the ceremony via video. In his opinion, the CICP has gathered partners and programs of China-Israel cooperation. It is a paradigm that has won appreciation from the two heads of the state. Meanwhile, he looked forward to visiting Changzhou again in the near future.

The ceremony was composed of two parts: cloud signing and company establishment. In the first part, eight programs were categorized into three groups. The first group was the programs in the CIP Initiative. They came from three Israeli enterprises, namely Foresight, Digate and Opsys. The second group was the China-Israel cooperation programs. The four pairs of partners included CZ XU Technology and EfCom; Nonuple Medtec Co., Ltd. and Seger Surgical Solutions; Changzhou Waston-Israel Venture Capital Center and the Trendlines Group; and Changzhou Qingshangyichou Electronic Business and Orcam. The third group was the talent program. Ms. Danielle A. Stern will be hired by Changzhou University to teach Hebrew.

During the establishment process, companies to settle in the CICP received Blue Keys of Innovation, a symbol that marks their establishment in the park. These companies are: Star Energy, Changzhou Haoming Information Technology, Changzhou  ZKHongxun Software, Linhao (Changzhou) Technology, Changzhou Coman Intelligent  Equipment, DMOM Intelligence, Jiangsu Yunyan Technologies, CAN Microelectronics (Changzhou), Changzhou Ironchain Information Technology, and Yitong Intelligent Equipment (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.
