The Grand Canal Oil Tank Park has launched a major renovation project aimed at revitalizing the industrial heritage site into a vibrant social destination. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2025, as announced by the Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Bureau of Zhonglou District and the Beigang Sub-district Office.

Nestled along the southern bank of the Grand Canal’s Yulan Forest Corridor, the park is located just east of the Second Experimental Primary School on Yulan Road in Zhonglou. Once a storage facility for the Changzhou Petroleum Five-Star Bridge Oil Depot, the site is poised to become a hub of culture, commerce, and community.

The renovation will carefully preserve historical landmarks, including the iconic oil tanks and water tower, while introducing modern amenities and innovative spaces. Highlights of the revitalized park will include:
