The construction of 17 key projects in Liyang, Changzhou started on February 27. City leaders Sheng Lei and Xu Huaqin attended the construction commencement ceremony.

These projects are involved in new materials, new energy, culture, tourism, and other fields.

Of these projects, there is one project with over 5 billion yuan investment, two with more than 3 billion yuan investment, and three with above 1 billion yuan investment.

Jiangsu Lihua Intelligent Manufacturing’s project, located in Nandu town, has a 5 billion yuan investment in its first-phase construction, of which 2.5 billion yuan is for textile equipment imports from Japan, Germany, and Sweden. The facility estimates an annual output of 350,000 tons of vortex yarns and 7 billion yuan sales revenue, with more than 1,000 job offers.

Changzhou Putailai’s multifunctional material project in Liyang High-Tech District, constructed by Jiangsu Advanced Material Tech, has a total investment of 3.2 billion yuan. It will purchase 750 sets of production and auxiliary equipment for coating, feeding, cutting, and other processes. The project estimates an annual sales of 5.5 billion yuan after being put into production.
